Venus-Coco-de-Mer
Venus Coco de Mer is an image by Paul Biddle Artist in his series Cabinet of Curiosity. There are two figures in the image, the larger being a woman made from two Coco de mer seed pods and part of an ivory figure from the Ashmolean museum in Oxford UK. Venus Coco de Mer stands in a sea shell as a visual reference to Botticelli's Venus Rising.The small figure by Venus's side is made out of Horseshoe Crabs to resemble a pet.
